Toyota Innova Hybrid Car Coming Soon, Features Leaked Ahead of Launch

The new Toyota MPV gets Toyota Safety Sense, panoramic sunroof, power tailgate, multi-color ambient light, LED headlamp and stop lamp, partial soft pad on the dashboard, flat floor, under-floor storage, captain seat with ottoman function, electronic parking brake and more. Features like a 360-degree camera will be given.

Toyota has recently launched the Hyryder SUV in the Indian market. After this, now the company is preparing to launch the new Innova Hybrid in the country. The first new Toyota Innova Hybrid from India will be launched in the Indonesian market in early November 2022. Dealers have started taking pre-bookings for this new model with a token amount. Along with this, special interior features of the upcoming Toyota Innova Hybrid have been leaked on the internet ahead of the official launch . Leaked details suggest that the new Innova will get many high-end features, which are not available in its current model. According to reports, this new MPV will be made on the new platform. The great thing is that it will not be offered with a diesel powertrain.

Design of New Toyota Innova Hybrid

The Indonesian model of the Innova Hybrid is being called the New Innova Zenix . At the same time, its Indian model will be called the new Innova HyCross. The new generation Innova will be built on a new monocoque platform with a front wheel drive setup instead of the existing ladder-frame chassis and RWD layout. It will have a 2860mm long wheelbase, which is 100mm longer than the current model.

Features of New Toyota Innova Hybrid

The captain seats can be electrically adjusted in the second row of this car. Along with this, the captain seats also come with ottoman function which is available on high-end MPVs like Toyota Voxy and Kia Carnival . The Naveen e Innova may come with a hybrid panoramic sunroof, which is not available on the current model.

The new Toyota Innova Hybrid will come with powered tailgate, multi-colour ambient lighting, LED lighting system, 360-degree camera, soft-touch finish on the dashboard and other interior panels. This MPV will come with Toyota Safety Sense, which will be equipped with features like Pre-Collision System, Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist and Automatic High Beam.

The report claims that most of these features will be offered in the high-end (Q) variant with a hybrid engine. However, some of these will be offered in the mid variant as well.

Engine of New Toyota Innova Hybrid

The hybrid powertrain setup of the new Innova will get a petrol engine and electric battery along with an electric motor. This MPV can be offered with a 2.0L petrol hybrid system or a 1.8L hybrid setup.
