Maruti Suzuki is constantly upgrading its existing models with the facelifted versions. The automaker has already launched upgraded versions of Baleno, Ertiga, and XL6. The company is now going to bring the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza to India.
2022 Maruti Suzuki Brezza can be launched in the Indian market soon. According to reports, the entry of the new Brezza has started at some dealerships. At the same time, the unofficial booking for this has already started. Meanwhile, the base variant of the new Maruti Brezza has been spotted. The ‘Vitara’ has been dropped from the name of the new sub-compact SUV, it will be sold only under the name Brezza.
Base variant of 2022 Maruti Brezza spotted
In the recently leaked images, the red-colored Brezza has been seen in a new avatar, which appears to be the base variant. It doesn’t get dual-tone paint, silver skid plates, alloy wheels, fog lamps, fancy dual daytime running LEDs, and roof rails. Instead, the spotted Brezza model gets black-colored steel wheels.
This variant also gets retractable body cladding on the wheel arches and lower part of the door panels, body-colored outside rearview mirrors with turn indicators, blacked-out A-pillar, and chrome garnish on the front grille.
2022 Maruti Brezza interior leaked
In a viral video, the 2022 Brezza can be seen with a sunroof. The car gets a redesigned front grille with a blacked-out chrome stripe and a new Suzuki logo at the center. Apart from this, redesigned headlamps and updated taillights have also been provided with LED DRLs.
According to reports, the upcoming car will come with features such as paddle shifters, wireless charging, a sunroof and head-up display (HUD), and a large infotainment touchscreen.
2022 Maruti Brezza Engine
The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza is expected to get a new 1.5-liter four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It generates 103 PS of power and 136.8 Nm of peak torque. It will first get a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the 4-speed torque converter will be replaced by a new 6-speed torque converter. The same engine has also been given in the new Maruti Ertiga.
These SUVs will compete with the 2022 Maruti Brezza
The new Maruti Suzuki Brezza will compete with the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue Facelift, Mahindra XUV300, Kia Sonnet, Renault Chiger, and Nissan Magnate. According to some reports, the new Brezza will be launched on June 30.
