India is using completely indigenous 5G technology!

Bharti Airtel is the first telecom company to start 5G services. These services of Bharti Airtel are available in eight cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Varanasi.

Launched earlier this month, 5G is completely indigenous. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that this technology was not imported from anywhere and is a development of the country. He said that India can provide 5G technology to other countries. Sitharaman said

At a university event in America, “The information has not arrived to the people that the 5G technology we have launched in the country is completely indigenous. Some important parts of it may come from countries like South Korea. This technology has not been imported from anywhere. ” He told that the private telecom companies developing this say that by 2024 it will reach most of the country. The country can be proud of the achievement of this technology. Launching 5G services, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, “The people of the country are getting a wonderful gift from the telecom industry in the form of 5G. Bharti Airtel is the first telecom company to start 5G services. These services of Bharti Airtel are available in eight cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Varanasi. The company plans to launch 5G services in many cities by March next year. Reliance Jio has started the beta trial of this service in four cities. Apart from Delhi, these cities include Mumbai, Kolkata, and Varanasi. In this, users are getting a download speed of more than 1Gbps. The company said that during the trial 5G services will be available on an invitation-only basis. Users will not need to change the SIM of Reliance Jio.

The company is working with all handset brands to make their 5G handsets capable of these services from Reliance Jio. Recently in the 45th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Reliance Industries, the company the chairman Mukesh Ambani announced spending around Rs 2 lakh crore on a 5G network across the country. In the recently held spectrum auction, Reliance Jio bagged spectrum worth around $11 billion. It was the highest spender in this auction.
