Forecast of torrential rains in the country from Monday, NDMA issued an alert

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has directed the concerned agencies to remain alert due to torrential rains in the country.
According to the NDMA spokesperson, heavy rains are expected from June 20 to 22 in the upper and central parts of the country.
The NDMA said that all concerned federal and provincial departments should be ready to deal with emergencies.
The NDMA directed the PDMS and DDMS to liaise with the concerned agencies and said that the passengers and tourists should be kept informed of the expected rains and the situation of the routes.
On the other hand, Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Balochistan has also issued a storm alert. According to PDMA, a strong system of rain tonight or tomorrow could be effective in Balochistan.

The PDMA has issued a flood warning for the next 24 to 48 hours and said that rain is also expected in Kohlu, Barkhan, Musa Khel, Sherani, Harnai, Zhob, Dakki, Ziarat, and Loralai.
